About the Event
Connected & Empowered: Memphis Digital Literacy Series is your chance to gain the skills and confidence to navigate the digital world — no matter your age or experience level. Whether you’re just starting out, brushing up on your tech skills, or exploring career opportunities, these hands-on workshops will meet you where you are. In partnership with M Street Fiber and Ting, we’ve designed six engaging modules covering everything from turning on a laptop and browsing the internet safely, to setting up email, creating a resume, and using online services like healthcare portals or job search platforms. You’ll also have the chance to explore modern career paths in e-commerce, remote work, broadband installation, and digital content creation — all with the guidance of patient instructors and supportive peers.
