ProGeny Place, AFSCME, Memphis Urban League and the NAACP-Memphis Chapter are joining together to ask all public officials to acknowledge the existence of racism, denounce it, and sign a pledge committing to take appropriate action within their respective legislative bodies to make it illegal. 

We feel that change happens with policy and legislation and this is a step in that direction. Our hope is that you will stand in solidarity with us!
